BOGA at SIDS4: SIDS Leadership on a Global Just Transition from Fossil Fuels

Small Island Developing States (SIDS) have been at the forefront of climate action and the global call for a just transition away from fossil fuels. Join us on Tuesday 28 May 2024 at the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) to discuss how efforts to deliver the outcomes of COP28 – including the first-ever global agreement to transition away from fossil fuels in line with 1.5C – will transform the global context for SIDS and for accelerated, sustainable growth over the next ten years.
This event, co-hosted by the governments of Samoa and Denmark and supported by the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance (BOGA), will bring together leaders from government, public and private finance, philanthropy, and civil society to share their visions of a world beyond oil and gas. Dialogue will focus on what is required from governments and partner organisations in this critical decade to achieve this vision and transform SIDS economies through the transition. This event is open to all in-person participants at the Conference. Speakers include:
