BOGA and European Commission announce partnership at COP29
The Beyond Oil & Gas Alliance (BOGA) and European Commission share a commitment: to accelerating an orderly, just transition away from fossil fuels in Europe, and globally.
At a joint event at COP29 last week, we announced a partnership to turn ambition into action.
BOGA and the European Commission will work together on:
- Promoting global ambition on the phase out of oil and gas.
- Advancing analysis and dialogue to support an orderly, just and equitable transition in Europe and beyond.
- Strengthening producer-consumer coordination and support for just transitions in oil and gas-dependent developing countries.
